Medium wave infrared heater consists of a helically wound resistance coil housed in a pure vitreous silica fused quartz tube. The quartz tubing is terminated with ceramic insulating caps that are specially designed to allow the quartz tubing to breathe. The ceramic caps are tightly fastened to the quartz tube with high temperature cement that allows the quartz to breathe. these heaters offer excellent life characteristics whether operated continuously or intermittently.

Our medium wave infrared heating modules are made of helically wound resistance wire enclosed in a Quartz Tube of 8mm outer diameter. The quartz tubes are placed parallel to each other and are mounted in a special housing. The size of this heater is such that they can replace Ceramic Infrared Heater.

Short Wave IR Lamp transmits heat in the form of electromagnetic waves at a velocity of approximately 3,00,000 Km/Sec i.e., at the speed of light. These lamps are not only the fastest in transmitting heat but are most suitable for specific applications involving vacuum technology and dust free (clean room) conditions.

Ceramic infrared heat elements are efficient, robust heaters which provide long wave infrared radiation, Ceramic elements operate in the temperature of 300°C to 700°C (572°F - 1292°F) producing infrared wavelengths in the 2 - 10 micron range. The element wire of Ceramic Infrared Heater is embedded in glazed refractory which protects the wire from atmosphere to get longer life. In normal operating condition the life of the heater for most application would be well in excess of 10,000 hrs of 80% power. These are available with built in J or K Type Thermocouple or without Thermocouple..
